Hello! I'm Susan, and am an Oregon, Washington and Idaho State Licensed State Farm Insurance Agent, here to help you with your car insurance, home insurance, life insurance, and small business insurance needs.

I consider myself a proud small-business owner, backed by the largest insurer in the United States. Our Agency opened in 2000, but that’s not where the story began. Getting to work with family my sister. Sheryl Fowler, we were blessed with a very rich State Farm background, in fact, one could say we were “born” into the industry as our grandfather, Frank Olberding, father, Mike Olberding and aunt, Camille Miller were all State Farm Agents.

We were able to work for Dad while attending Newberg High School which has contributed immensely to our outstanding customer service skills and relationship building as we got to learn from our father and he knew how to take care of customers! Personally, I got to work full time for Dad while attending night school at Portland State University, to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Once I had my degree, Dad suggested spending time working in our Claims Department to enhance my future State Farm Agent skills. I loved working for State Farm in our Claims Department for 12 years before returning to Agency in 2000. The wealth of knowledge I gained from those years definitely has contributed to our successes!

In addition to the Olberding sisters combined insurance experience of 68+years experience, we love working with Grace who is Licensed and has several years of State Farm experience as well as Susan’s husband, Tom, and son, Gabe and our newest addition Jordan Sandoval! Growing up in the Newberg Area, we are very familiar with the surrounding areas and look to be involved in the Newberg, Dundee, St Paul, McMinnville, Dayton, Yamhill, Carlton, Sheridan, Willamina, Lafayette and Sherwood communities as much as possible. We do this through participating in civil organizations such as Kiwanis and Chamber of Commerce, and by supporting other local businesses and organizations in any way we can.
